Russia removes military units - TVP World
For decades, the area of the Kaliningrad region, was a Russian enclave whose main task was to be a counterweight to the presence of NATO troops in central and eastern Europe.
As Forbes magazine discovered - the Russians had effectively demilitarized the garrison there, as well as other units that were stationed along the border with the Baltics States. Russian forces that were stationed there before the war were sent to Ukraine, and a large part of them most likely ended their existence there. Does this mean, according to the Kremlin, that NATO is no longer a threat? Or is it perhaps an admission of a false image of Western countries that has been constructed over the years by Kremlin propaganda? We will discuss all the recent events regarding Kaliningrad with our guest this evening: Sergej Sumlenny - Political Scientist, Eastern Europe expert.
