(12,170 posts)3. It can be appealed to the very conservative 5th Circuit court, and then
to the very conservative U.S. Supreme Court. Lovely. (I have no legal expertise -- I'm basing this on what I heard on this morning's NPR Up First podcast.)

(2,947 posts)5. This comment may go beyond what some people have been following but this week
the USSC heard argument in the Baby O case and if the court interfers/modifies the ICWA that was afforded to Native Americans eons ago that will be the tip off that they intend to do it in this debt cancellation program as well.
We maybe have won the war on Nov 8, but lost the battle.
