David Wasserman: 'It's Now Going To Take A Miracle' To Get Democrats 'Back In Contention' - MSNBC

NBC News Senior Political Editor Mark Murray and Cook Political Report Senior House Editor David Wasserman join Andrea Mitchell as the count for House control continues to unfold. “It's now going to take a miracle, or another development in another race where Democrats are trailing, in order to get them back in contention,” says Wasserman. “The most likely result here is that Republicans end up with somewhere around 219, 220, or 221 seats.”

Ok, fingers crossed anyway. If they do take it, I hope for the absolute thinnest margin possible emulatorloo Nov 2022 #1
Wasserman, still with the anti-Democratic corporate FUD mindset. It's the mail in ballots, stupid. ancianita Nov 2022 #2

The count will shift to new kinds of ballots, like Election Day drop-offs, late-arriving mail ballots and provisionals. These may break differently than those counted so far.

Democrats’ hopes, while faint, are still alive for one main reason: They generally appear to be faring better in the post-Election Day count in California — where millions of votes remain to be counted — than they did on election night.
