1. If you follow his argument it seems to be that the key to economic health is to end the

War in Ukraine. The catch is that are two ways to do that; cut off assistance and let Russia roll over Ukraine, or defeat Russia. That is some catch.... The logical extension of this argument is that since Russia is an unstable nuclear power that we will need to let Ukraine fail or risk humanity. Trade other people's lands and freedom for peace and a cheaper loaf of bread. Do the right thing or do the expedient thing; a fairly simple choice.

So lets just give Ukraine to Russia, after all, you can't see Ukraine from your house...
