Ukraine says $1 trillion needed to rebuild country - Al Jazeera



The level of destruction across Ukraine is the worst Europe has seen since World War II. Hundreds of thousands have been left homeless. Thousands more are living in damaged buildings as winter bites.

As Al Jazeera's @Rory Challands reports from Kyiv, the estimated cost of rebuilding the country is huge, and it is growing.

How much of the land is now contaminated?

Probably one of Putin's goals. To ruin Ukraine's source of revenue.
And starve the world as punishment for not supporting him.

If Russia's assets are seized, Putin could retaliate.

Also not sure if Russia has $1 Trillion laying around.
