Dana Rohrabacher: "The President himself has intentionally misinformed, read that lied, ..."

O.K. this is political war!! This is a new low in American politics, a complete bath in the gutter swill of partisanship.

Abusing the death of Americans to play politics. Unbelieveable!

You don't just call the President a liar, no matter how much Mitt lied or Ryan lied.
First, you need a lie and a liar! Obama is not and did not.

2. Rohrabacher voiced support for the Taliban
Fri Nov 16, 2012, 12:20 AM
Nov 2012
Rohrabacher voiced support for the Taliban when they seized power in the 1990s, visiting Afghanistan when it came under their control, saying that the Taliban would provide "stability", and eliminate threats to the United States. He also claimed the Taliban "intend to establish a disciplined, moral society". He said he believed complete Taliban control over Afghanistan would be a "positive development", that they were "devout traditionalists, not terrorists or revolutionaries", and that "sensationalist" media coverage of the Taliban's introduction of Sharia law was "nonsense".[50]

Criticism of Barack Obama

In an appearance as a panelist on Real Time with Bill Maher in January 2012, Rohrabacher cited Obama's secret determination to "gut the military" as one reason why prominent Republicans are justified in making public displays of disrespect for a sitting president. He made this assertion despite non-partisan data indicating military spending has actually increased in each year of Obama's presidency.[64] When confronted with this fact on the show, Rohrabacher stumbled and later blamed his ineffectual television performance on the distraction caused by what he called the "aggressive and rude interruptions" of co-panelist and libertarian radio host, Lisa Kennedy Montgomery.[65]

CREW Releases Report Revealing Rep. Rohrabacher Abused His Position to Benefit Family Members

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) released its new report, Family Affair, detailing how members of the House of Representatives use their positions to financially benefit their families. In the case of Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA), the congressman from Orange County used campaign funds to pay his wife, Rhonda Rohrabacher, more than $160,000 in salary over the 2008 and 2010 election cycles. The Rohrabacher family also pocketed more than $72,000 in expense reimbursements from the congressman’s campaign committee during the same time frame.

I've been voting against him for years in my very red corner of Orange County, CA, but to no avail. The Dems always put up some hapless schlub to run against him who garners no more than 40% of the vote. Just once, I'd like to see the Dems run a good candidate, and give him or her money to run ads. The guy who ran against him this November didn't run a single ad...and Rohrabacher didn't either (because he didn't have to). Rohrabacher ended up wining with 61% of the vote. Sucks.

Seems like he's been in office forever. I agree that we need to find someone who could get this asshole out of office. The right wingers in this area aren't that socially conservative but they're very libertarian (tax haters, big gov haters). Not that she would make a great candidate (frankly I only know she's a Dem and supported Obama) but I was hoping that someone with big name recognition like Maria Shriver could have moved into this District and run just to get the piece of shit Rohrabacher out of office.

It would probably require a blue dog to win anyway. My area in Seal Beach had a lot of Romney signs. Even though Obama carried California 59.3% to Romney's pathetic 38.3%, in OC it was Romney 53% to Obama 44.8%. And the election results for my precinct in Seal Beach is Romney 60.5%:

Romney 353
Obama 224
Other 6

It's bad. Seal Beach is nicknamed "Mayberry by the Sea."

Awesome reply:

Ackerman said, “The stench of hypocrisy that hangs over this city today emanates from this room. I’ve listened to my colleagues talk about the President of the United States and others in the administration using [the] terms ‘deliberate’, ‘lies’, ‘unmitigated gall’, ‘malfeasance,’ which is malicious and knowing evil-doing, ‘disgust’, ‘coverups’. If you want to know who is responsible in this town, buy yourself a mirror!”

Just wrote his remarks and accusations ahead of time before receiving any information in order to defame the president. How many more times how many more people connected to Benghazi have to appear to tell this guy & those trying desperately to create a conspiracy out of thin air that he and they are just full of it?
Just like the thousands of Clinton investigations these slimy weasels are just feeling out in the dark till they find something that they can use to demean the president.
It's why they are losing elections...they just can't rise above the sewer they've learned to float in.

...and how it could affect waves.

He also stated that global warming could have been caused by "dinosaur farts"

Environment

Rohrabacher denies that global warming is caused by humans. During a congressional hearing on climate change on February 8, 2007, Rohrabacher mused that previous warming cycles may have been caused by carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere by "dinosaur flatulence."[60] He stated, "In fact, it is assumed at best to be unproven and at worst a liberal claptrap, trendy, but soon to go out of style in our new Congress." On May 25, 2011, Rohrabacher expressed further skepticism regarding the existence of man-made global warming. However, he suggested that if it is an issue, a possible solution could be clear-cutting rain forests, and possibly replanting. This was strongly criticized by scientists, including Oliver Phillips, a geography professor at the University of Leeds. They noted the consensus that intact forests act as net absorbers of carbon, reducing global warming.[61][62] In response, Rohrabacher stated, "Once again those with a global agenda have created a straw man by misrepresenting the position of their critics. I do not believe that CO2 is a cause of global warming, nor have I ever advocated the reduction of CO2 through the clearing of rainforests or cutting down older trees to prevent global warming. But that is how my question to a witness during my subcommittee hearing on May 25th is being reported. I simply asked the witness, Dr. Todd Stern, who is a supporter of a global climate treaty that would dramatically hurt the standard of living for millions of human beings, if he was considering a policy that would address naturally emitted carbon dioxide, which makes up over 90% of emissions. To suggest that I’m advocating such a radical approach instead of simply questioning the policy is a total misrepresentation of my position."[63]

You vote for a member of a given party in the hopes that they will push THAT PARTY'S agenda, which hopefully agrees with yours.

Then, they turn around and say, "I really want the other side to like me, so I'm NOT going to push for the changes my constituents want."

And some even defend that!

Let compromise come through discussion and reasoned debate. Not by starting out from a position of compromise and then moving further toward the opposition from there.
