(207,016 posts)There was supposed to be a drag queen story hour for the kids in a small town just north of me. But the folks up there must have been watching Fox and there were objections, the usual "grooming" accusations, so it's canceled until they have a meeting, I'm guessing how that'll turn out. Too bad since it would have been fun for the kids.

hate talk radio, and social media. Putin's rise to power in Russia is in part by his spreading rumors about
the grooming of children by one of his rivals. In June of '22 the OH State legislature passed an anti trans
bill about school sports because 1 girl in N.E. OH played on her high school team.

(207,016 posts)During the 2016 campaign I was invited to a women's gathering by a girl I know who lives up there, it's beautiful county, caters to the summer tourists who come there to visit the lakes. But in the fall, it was only the locals, trailer parks and isolated cabins. My friend lives in a lovely log cabin on a dirt road by a stream, But I got lost and was afraid to stop and ask directions when I saw all the TFG signs everywhere! I hadn't seen any of them down here.
