Does Newt have a tiny bit of a "Gay" affect? It could be at the root of his homophobia.

And I thought that someone might be troubled by it but I can't think that people - even gay people - would be offended. I mean some people have a gay affect. It is a fact of life? Is this not something we can discuss here because it is not PC to say that?

So we can't discuss personality types? It wasn't intended to offend. Would men be offended if I said that "Marlon Brando had a masculine affect in A Street Car Named Desire" ? I mean if that can't be said - then what can be said? Are we not to discuss how people are?

Hence the words "please reconsider".

How statements of this type come across to some folks, i.e. what some hear is:

"That guy is a real jerk. He seems gay."

I am not saying that is what you intended, but there have been many discussions of that sort of statement here in the past.

and I think it is an asset. Sorry - I'm not trying to offend anyone. I'm proud of the touch of "Gay" in myself and I think others should be proud of who they are too.

This being the case ( it is)....... how do we know the "masculine effect" he had in Streetcar wasn't the "gay affect" talking?
