but this argument goes nowhere as far as a historical test. Geo.W?, HW?, Mitt?
DeSantis may be uniquely off putting and offensive (TCruz has/had a similar vibe) but I'd be hesitant to extend that argument too far. And let's keep in mind how readily GOP voters will pull the lever for woefully unsuited character. It's about 'ownin' the libs.' Right?

there aren't any decent Republicans left. Their whole party is based on how they align with Trump or not. Not an original thought or policy position from any of them.
