7. Fetterman reflects real voters

There are a lot of everyday people who wish they could dress like Fetterman, and just as many who do.
Those people, mostly adults, will see themselves in Fetterman.
As for attire, the thing that really makes a mockery of the halls of government is the constant lying, misinformation, cronyism, fakery, and dishonesty that goes on. In Fetterman the people are more likely to see themselves, and to see a man who is not afraid to say what he really thinks, than a laggard in a hoodie and shorts.
Both the Senate and Congress would be far better focusing on their morals and behavior than on the dress code.
Fetterman's attire can be best described as 21st century reality in rural and suburban America. The people see themselves in him in ways they do not see themselves in men in suits and woman in pant suits, with phony smiles on their faces.

8. Didn't watch the video, but I don't understand Schumer's reasoning.

The GOP is all about optics. The dress code is about optics. Elections are a lot about optics. Next year is an election year. Why make this change now? I realize the Senate is dysfunctional and stymied by their own filibuster rules and they can’t get a lot done because GOP controlled House can’t pass a bill, but is there really nothing more important they can do?

give a sh!t about his work attire. How many people in their thousand dollar dress ware have screwed us over already. So he's dressed like the average guy on the streets at least he's not trying to jack us up. I have always thought that should be the rule after all the more you spend on your clothes the more you have to make. Fetterman dresses for his constituency. Besides the main urban centers, which are already to the left, his constituency includes the vast rural areas of PA and the "down home folks" who live there. They identify with him.

I don't recall Smith doing a video about Jordan's rolled up sleeves and lack of a jacket on the House floor, so what's his problem with Fetterman?

Smith sounds like a pompous old guy who can't pronounce Schumer's name very well.
