5. David Koch was worth 31 billion dollars in 2012

He whined in an interview with Newsmax magazine that year that government regulations put a horrible burden on corporations. I repeat he was worth 31 billion dollars in 2012.

He died in 2019 but his brother Charles is still breathing.

Interesting, the Koch’s and Donald trump all inherited money from their fathers Fred.

Those inheriting millions of dollars decide it’s so much fun being a libertarian. I find libertarians to be more a danger to democracy than republicans.

Big advocates of private profit, public loss while railing about “liberty.” Like todays auto manufacturers.

11. Though the difference with TFG is that he is now desperate for money

He's always been since every business he ever started failed badly and he was desperate enough that he sold his father's lucrative business at a loss - and he attempted to disinherit his remaining siblings until his mother found out. I have always believed that the only reason he decided to "campaign" was because he figured grifting campaign donations was an easy way to get money. And it was the one "business" that worked for him so he's unwilling to give it up - he continued to hold campaign rallies even while he was in office.
