And to answer the questions yes, if raised in peace and harmony you will have a peaceful person...and if raised in violence you will have a violent person when they grow up...
And it is not just guessing...there have been many experiments of that subject and it is completely possible to condition a child to most anything including violence...and violent video games is just one of the many ways to do it.
We have created a culture of violence and I have seen it in my lifetime grow greatly.
But then the PTB need a steady supply of the violent ones to fight the stupid wars we have been in for decades.

Conditioning can substitute reasoning when the objective is to make it a reflex, like in conditioning learning. If most of the time is spent in such activities, with any theme, it will become a reflex, and it will substitute reasoning. So, video games can be harmful, depending on the content, the frequency of use, and any other trick that the technical people decide to use. Some people say there are subliminal messages in many types of communications. Ask Gore’s ex wife who promoted rating movies for children.

Society seems failed in several aspects, let’s accept that and rather work to rebuild a better one: permanent good values, reasoning, a logical economic system as opposed to the self-defeating one now in place, true opportunities in place of ‘pretend opportunities’, freedom with responsibility under the principle of do NO HARM, no to manipulations of the masses, and you people continue the list.

All of the above should have no political color or party, it's rather common sense and true progressiveness.
