Remember back in the 80s when Ronnie Raygun started the Drug War? And a bunch of new laws were passed which made property owners liable for the actions of their tenants? So if someone renting from you got busted with a joint in the house, the cops could take your house? We let them get away with that shit way back when, and now look- seems like every new draconian law is a further evolution of that same bullshit.
