This is 2012 and she is very articulate. This is mind boggling what she speaks about...Not just how it is to be autistic and what you see but how we can harnass the autistic for their special abilities....
She suggests having retired people teach middle school students their specialties..
The economy how needs to be changed...TIME TO TAKE THE BULL BY THE HORNS and she is speaking of Wall Street
Time to have us guided to our best abilities for the benefit of our economy and society.
She said too many autistic kids are guided to video games and taking social security...not being encouraged to use their special abilities.. Have to get these kids employed and not for janitor work...many are very gifted.
She said rural America has very poor internet available for kids.
She also spoke of BP and the oil leak accident....mind blowing...they knew that it would leak.
and also the Japanese nuclear generator meltdown....
This is a 56 minute lecture but it is awesome..

Here is the HBO movie I watched a few years ago. But watch the video of her lecture. You would not think she is autistic now. The HBO movie show how she progressed. Clare. Rains played Temple.

ability to do whatever she wanted. Thanks for posting
a reminder of this remarkable woman.
