Setting the record straight on what our President and Hillary Clinton said on September 12, 2012 about Benghazi in the Rose Garden.

Please, the president so clearly labeled the matter as an attack and not a demonstration.

Here is Hillary Clinton's statement: heavily armed attack. That's not how you describe a demonstration.

Republicans are either stupid and genuinely cannot understand plain English or they are deliberately lying about what Hillary Clinton and the President said.

Note that the attack took place on the night of September 11, 2012.

These speeches by the President and Hillary Clinton were made the day after the attack.

Republicans are being partisan, unreasonable and unpatriotic in their attempt to make political points over the deaths of members of our diplomatic corps in Benghazi.

How can democracy survive when approximately 1/2 of the population is illiterate on a practical level in that they cannot understand the meanings of simple words and do not have the attention spans to watch entire speeches and analyze what is being said?

I feel very sorry for my country when I think of the Republican fools in our Congress.

Thank God for President Obama and the Democrats in Congress.

forgotten.

We have a lot of new people on DU since that time. Some of them are just here to disrupt.

Also, the Republican media has confused people with lies about what Obama and Hillary did or did not say. I posted these videos so that people can Facebook friends and family and set the record straight.

We have to fight the Fox confusion news with the facts.
