When there is a story this disgusting, can we please, PLEASE ignore the grammar mistakes? Let's look at the substance and see how horrible an idea this Senator is proposing. Even you know you shouldn't have posted something this trivial if you apologized immediately thereafter.

Grammar is important. Weighing what is more important is in the eye of the beholder, but a comment on the lack of linguistic aptitude doesn't subtract from the initial point. It merely reinforces the importance of making yourself clear in your correspondence.

And, who cares? Anyone who cares about clarity in communication does.

I did not catch it when I first read it. I am
not good in grammar and like to see mistakes
pointed out in good nature. I see a lot of mistakes
and know I make more!

"I'm not setting the bar like the kids have to become rocket surgeons." How dumb is that? Surely he knows that rocket surgery is a college level course. Good grief. That reminds me, I need to take my Toyota in to my automobile surgeon.

would have considered this guy a right-wing bigot. Of course the underachieving children of wealthy parents will not be penalized a third of their incomes because of their kids. One can only imagine the kind of people who would elect a knuckling walking malaprop like Sen. Rocker Surgeon.

I am so old that I can remember when we tried to actually help the poor, sick and disabled.

Rocket surgeons? WTF?!

I never knew our rockets had a surgeon corps to attend to their bio-mechanical medical needs. Or maybe he was referring to the surgeons who routinely serve aboard our rockets on inter-stellar missions?

Either way I've got to pick up the next National Enquirer to follow this story more closely . . .
