HEARTBREAKING: See The Video That The Slain Young Woman From The Inauguration Made

This is eery and devastating. Young Hadiya Pendleton, who just performed at President Obama’s second Inauguration, made this video a little over 4 years ago as a middle schooler. She spoke of gun and gang violence and how frequently kids are killed because of it. Hadiya, 15, was murdered on January 29th, 2013 from a gunshot that wasn’t intended for her.

Here is footage including an interview with Hadiya Pendleton and an image of her from the Inaugural performance on January 21st.
