This stirred my soul - especially after Rachel's work last night - New reason to like Chuck Hagel

&feature=youtu.be

Imagine this, and think through that a Republican Senator took Condosleeza Rice to task for 4 minutes. Also watch her devlish eyes and be grateful we don't have to see them much any more.

I am not surprised that our current President has put his support behind Hagel and is enlisting him for service.

This is an important video to me, also shows up why ineffectual Republican Senators like Graham and McCain are so incredibly envious of a man with clarity/vision and guts.

Hagel a lone Republican voice of reason, how rare has that been in the last thirty years. Of course free thinking and telling the truth is disturbing to a party that uses fear and lies to keep their constituents in line.
Couldn't help noticing Condi's knotted panties, her eyes were shooting daggers. The very thought of a Republican refusing to kiss the Bush administration's ass!!

of the old school Republicans who knew how to fight a war. And bother to win one. Don't forget. Some idiot fired the Iraqi police in 2003 -2004 who basically and obvious ran out of money and thus became the opposition. Once we did that Iraq was lost.

You know they have. They realize that such frank candor is dangerous to our industrial war machine and possibly to it's cash-filled trough!

just like her bosses. a friend of mine met her at a party in palo alto several years ago. he went over to her and introduced himself, and she asked him if he was a democrat. he said yes, and she turned and walked away. evil to the core.

spoiled and spineless. Bush & Co. used her, and she was eager to cooperate. They needed the image of a black woman in a prominent place, to try to broaden their appeal, and they sold her on the PNAC by how she could be part of this new empire, how she could shape the future and the world, how she would have power and respect and admiration and glory and whatever. And the cherry on top was GWB making her feel like she was really "special" to him.

Educated, sophisticated, attractive, good family background, exceptionally smart in some respects, and best of all, black, she fit the bill perfectly.

The only problem was, she bought into it too much. Her field of specialty, Russia and the Soviet Union, was outdated. She was in way over her head, in her position, and constantly screwed up. And when she accidentally referred to GWB as "my husband," and it did not escape the notice of the press, she then turned quickly from an asset into a real liability. She was much too high-profile to be suicided, she had no family to resign to "spend more time with," and "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned": She could be a real danger to start leaking secrets.

And that, in my opinion, is how Condy Rice became Secretary of State. One has to admire the brilliance of this solution: Rice is rewarded by a higher position than she previously had, she has her name written permanently and prominently in the history books, and best of all - she is GONE! Out of the White House, constantly off to somewhere, out of Laura B's sight, and out of GWB's hair. Talk about win-win!

Is that Rove I smell? Turdblossom really came through for GWB with this one.

as it was happening back then. Have been a Hagel "fan" ever since, even got some flack around these parts for it at times . I don't have to agree with somebody on everything to admire and respect the person. Guts, smarts, and from what heard/read a significant amount of basic human decency is enough.

she was shooting daggers at Hagel with her eyes as if to say how dare you challenge ME and my main man GWB.

I'm with you; I loathe the whole lot of them and hope they pay for what they did. 'Course I'd rather that karma occurred during life as well as later in hell!

Let's keep that in perspective. 133 House Members voted No.
If we must reward those whose judgement failed so hugely, can we at least acknowledge that many were not duped, were not pressured, stood up and wisely said No to Bush's illegal war. 156 members of Congress voted No.
