Are you smarter than a child?

Spelling and grammar are important.

Without them, we couldn't appreciate wonderful Christmas jokes, such as this one:

What is the official job title for Father Christmas' elves?

Subordinate Clauses

You're welcome.

A new quiz is going viral on PlayBuzz. It claims to be based on year six grammar and spelling questions.

Click on the link to take the test. I got A+ - probably not that much to brag about as I am grown arsed - however apparently, as you are told at the end of the quiz, only 3 out of 50 American adults who took it passed. So take in the full contentment that you are equal to a 12 year but smarter than most adults!!!! at least when it comes to grammar

I got an A+ also on my first try and had the same concern you did as I graduated from high school with a D+ average and had my diploma thrown at me by the principal in his office who then told me to get out of the building and never come back.

Truth be told, I wasn't sure which were the right answers but went with what felt right. Same with the wrong answers I picked when taking the test the 2nd time.

I wouldn't win as my wife says I am a child.... so it would be peer to peer for me.

I'd like to point out, two of the questions were grammatically wrong.
Send the "tester" back a grade.
