It seems I have inadvertently triggered umbrage among some trump* supporters

I posted in a Liberal Facebook group that, IMHO, anyone who still supports trump* is now fully complicit with him in his attempts to destroy this country. They are culpable for any financial disasters, including their own. The blood is on their hands, for any deaths resulting in people’s lack of healthcare, or financial despair and there isn’t enough water in the world, or time left, to wash themselves clean. Most people agreed. Most. Not all. I’m not sure why trump* supporters feel the need to visit and comment on this particular site, but they do, and I seem to have struck a VERY tender nerve! It’s almost as if some of them are so upset, they are even struggling with spelling and sentence structure.

Did I cross the line when I suggested that they might want to cut back on their consumption of Stolichnaya flavored Kool Aid?

Their condemnation is not complete until we can all stand around and mock them relentlessly.

To hell with their tender feelings. Either they don't believe there will be any downsides (in which case they shouldn't care what you think) or they realize that you are absolutely correct.

And NONE of them have responded back. I always click on profiles, for these kinds of posts, and although some seem like legitimate accounts, some have me squinting.

I just tried to find that particular thread, but it is such an active site, it's hard to find. I have started 'hiding' notifications, but if someone does pipe up, again, I want to capture my favorite admonition. It was a doozie.

Unfortunately, most right wing 'cat toys' tend to get removed before the fun and frolic can begin. I fully admit that I do go through a bit of snark withdrawal, when the Facebook trolls return to the bridge guarding duties.

I haven't seen quite so many lately, but suspicious profiles popped up with some frequency when MSN still allowed comments. I'd click through on profiles and often found them to have no friends, no photos, no history, or very little in that way. The first time I called one out, I was a little nervous that I was inviting an invasion on my own FB page, but nothing happened. In fact, of all the times I clapped back on a fake profile, I never got follow-up.

I found it useful in marking trolls who should be ignored.

The reality is that they are, more than likely, frantically searching for whatever serves as a dictionary, in their alternate universe.
