Warning: Gamezjet.com is a fraudulent website.

I just had to cancel my credit card - I learned AFTER signing up - that they will withdraw money from your card at random. So I'm passing it on. Hopefully no one else will get scammed.

Gamezjet.com will show up when you google for sites that offer books, movies and games for download. They offer "free" membership, but ask for your card info. After that, they send you on a fairy chase, never letting you download anything, but then they have your card info. You can't cancel the "membership". You end up having to cancel the credit card.

I feel so stupid... chasing after free stuff.

I think the fewer mailing lists I'm on, the better.

A lot of these scam websites are beyond the law because they operate in countries that refuse to enforce our laws.
The credit card transactions are real, but the "banks" that transfer the money out are illegal or quasi-(just barely) legal.

Never give your debit or credit cad number to a company like this (for obvious reasons.) They don't play by the same rules we do. Sorry, but glad you got out OK.
