(814 posts)Hot Rats & The Grand Wazoo. It's hard to believe I had the good sense to enjoy Zappa as a teenager.

I try not to consider Overnite Sensation my fave album of Frank's, but just can't help it. Every song on that album makes me happy when I hear it. Not that many of his others aren't excellent in my book, too. Was a fan of FZ from the start, when I was a kid and my brother found Freak Out when he'd gone off to college. Twisted doo-wop - love it!
FZ was a genius in many ways. I miss him. It was wonderful to have him in my lifetime.
RIP.

(7,809 posts)Because of the music and vocals (all doing their own thing, but coming together in the whole), but for the humor.
I decided not to post Camarillo Brillo, Crew Slut, and Dinah Moe Hum. Mike Pence might be lurking.

Sorry, no live version of it that I could find.
