12 Days of Christmas, Maine style

Our grade 5/6 rewrote a holiday classic and produced the "12 Days of Our Maine Christmas." Here is the list:

12 Plows a-plowin'
11 Moose a-munchin'
10 Lobstahs cookin'
9 Traps a-haulin'
8 Farmers farmin'
7 Loggers loggin'
6 Blizzards blowin'

5 Whoopie pies
4 Calling loons
3 French Mainahs
2 Rubber gloves
And a Chickadee in a Pine Tree
