It is becoming that I worry for any friends going to Mexico during the cold season here in the upper midwest. Several have a pattern over many years of going there, rather than Florida or Arizona etc. They love it, and can't be dissuaded.

Dangerous conditions on the road as your friends suffered and other places for accidents and highway robberies in locales previously experienced as safe. Hate it.

Family of 5 from NY killed in Costa Rica plan crash. I know these tragedies happen almost every day, but just an extra degree of sadness when they happen when it should be a time of joy.
