I don't unless I'm trying to sleep and he's keeping me awake. I played fetch with my dog about an hour ago so he was really tired and crashed in his bed. He was having a dream--I love it when their cheeks puff in and out. I always wonder what he's dreaming about. A bigger dog chasing him? A biscuit he can't reach? Going to the vet?

(12,272 posts)My former girl kitty would jerk, snuff and "run" in her sleep, she was a tiny stray and I believe had a rough time on the mean streets of Seattle before we adopted her. So I believed she was having nightmares and would try to talk her through them, she would often wake up and then stretch in happiness/relief.

(14,549 posts)sometimes dream in sync. When they first came home they would dream of nursing, now it seems to be more running.
They may also dream that they are naked in public because they ARE.
