Hugh Wilson, an Emmy-award winning writer-producer and WKRP in Cincinnati series creator who also directed several features including The First Wives Club, Blast From the Past, and the original Police Academy, has died.
He was a writer for The Bob Newhart Show and The Tony Randall Show.
Hugh Wilson was 74.
