Lots do do before I leave for the SB party
I've already been cooking a lot today, which means a lot of dishes, but there is more to do.
Just finished a batch of peanut butter fudge for the party and praying to the Flying Spaghetti Monster that it sets.
This morning I made brekkie (hash browns, sausage and over-easy eggs).
I also made a shepherd's pie which I thought we might eat before going to the party, but not likely. It is assembled, but it didn't go into the oven. Another day.
My parents went away for the weekend and left me a bag of food, which included a pork roast which they took out of the freezer yesterday. It HAS to be cooked today. It's going into a crockpot with some pulled pork simmering sauce.
Lots and lots of dishes.
Laundry to fold and put away.
And Al and I should bring in some bags of pellets before we leave so that they're in the house when we get back from the party.
Al is busy vacuuming and washing floors. (He's doing it naked. I told him he could probably make $30/hr if he offered that service in a newspaper or Craigslist ad. LOL)
