Got lucky weather on wedding day. 70 and sunny in mid-March Chicago was definitely lucky.

Ours is April 10th and our 36th, but only on paper. Our real anniversary is in July, when we met 44 years ago. Still, I have to go to the States in April and I deliberately made sure I wouldn't have to leave until the 11th, so we could have "our day" together.

By the way, it was mild (12°C) here (Rheinland) on Wednesday, but woke up to a blizzard this morning. It's not enough for Putin to hack our computers, he has to send us Siberia as well?

I know with me it was in the evening, because my gigs were always in the evening, but what hour? Sometime between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM CET. That's about as close as I'll get. I knew instantly I was meeting someone who impressed the hell out of me. I didn't think there was a chance in the world that she'd still be with me 44 years later.
