Unless I use TWO cans of tuna and LOTS of cheese. Maybe sprinkle some fried onions on top.

Damn. Now I think I'm going to have to make some tuna casserole!

The other waitresses and I would hope it didn’t sell out off the menu so we could get a scoop.
But it always did.
We would often fill the little Styrofoam cups with scrapings from the big pans he made
the casserole in; even those left overs were amazing.

That man guarded his recipes like gold. Most good cooks do.

I haven't had it since I left home in 1981. My wife always plans to make it but we end up making sandwiches with the tuna and never get around to casserole. I cook on occasion but never with as much planning and forethought that tuna casserole would take. (Meaning even though I do the majority of the grocery shopping I just get what she puts on the list and never remember to get TC stuff). I'm not even sure what goes in it other than tuna and noodles.
