It won't be til next week so I have to walk around looking like a freak for another 7 days. I have another appointment but I just hate looking like this. Our dear friend is having surgery for his spinal stenosis soon and I wanted to visit him when he's in rehab. My husband had that surgery and sent him a lengthy email about what he could expect after his operation.
I'm sure our snow removing service will be by to shovel and hopefully will clean off our car. We're kinda down on groceries but I'll try to reach a couple of neighbors who can get out and perhaps pick up some items for us.
This was not supposed to be a BFD, according to our local weather person...I hate it when that happens and you are stuck inside.
Oh, well.

Best of luck with it, and I'm sure the weather will be better next week. Spring is coming.

(63,912 posts)I will try to think more of others who may be without heat and might have to choose between food and an oil tank fill up.
The sun is trying to push through even as I write this...I will focus on the positive...

(115,734 posts)Not the snow; having to walk around snaggle-toothed because you can't get to the dentist right away. Happened to me once, chipped a tooth which then fell out and I spent several uncomfortable days looking like a meth head and avoiding people as much as possible.

Did you get a new tooth from the dentist? Just wondering because I am afraid that my old teeth are very fragile due to my age.

(63,912 posts)however, this might be an expensive repair if I go that route. It's OK, because I have the money so it'll be fine...
