Actual Cannibal Shia Labeouf?

What's up with this meme? Look over Wikipedia. Pretty much every mention of Shia Labeouf is describing him as an "actual cannibal". Every mention of cannibalism or the show "Even Stevens" references "Actual Cannibal Shia Labeouf".

Then - there is the "Actual Cannibal Shia Labeouf" song by Rob Cantor.

All of it is pretty hilarious. But I am scratching my head trying to figure out why this meme even exists.

It's a brillaint song. Rob Cantor mentioned somewhere that he liked how breath taking the name "Shia La Boeuf" was when you whispered it.

My favourite version to date is this DayZ version (zombie game does of course add to the imagery);

Definitely worth checking out.
