Got a new job - driving coast to coast

Finally, I got a job in exciting Las Vegas. I won't go into it much except to say it's a high level position in my field of expertise with one of LV's largest employers.

My first day is May 21. My husband and I are leaving on May 3 at noon as soon as I finish off the last activities at my current job. We will be leaving southeastern coastal NC to head to the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Devil's Tower, the Grand Tetons, Seattle (where we will spend a day), then San Francisco (we will be there 2 days), then to Carmel down to Malibu via the PCH, then visit my sister in the O.C. then off to Vegas.

We are planning to drive the first couple of days in shifts (we both have done long-haul driving) and then we plan on taking a bit more leisurely through the sights we want to see. I am excited and I can't wait.
