This guy could be my brother, easily, at age 28:
It's just uncanny. Every time I see him, he reminds me so strongly of my older brother, who is now 63.
You also ?

(32,197 posts)we were both students at UCLA at the same time in the late 60's and early 70's, but we lived in different places. Never ran into each other.
He was on the street in Westwood one day and walking towards someone whom he thought was me walking towards him. He was all set to make some kind of family related sarcastic comment when he realized that it wasn't me at all!
So, yes, I had a look a like out there when I was 20ish that fooled my brother.

(3,107 posts)I once saw a woman across church in crowded Christmas Eve Mass who could have been my twin. Never saw her again.

(13,930 posts)I asked my mother where we were when this photo of me was taken ???
I didn't recognize the scenery or background, but I was sure the photo was of me.
Turns out it was my 13 year old first cousin.

(34,195 posts)I had two older twin brothers (Frank and Charles, both now deceased). They lived about 30 miles apart.
Frank told me that several times he and his wife would be seen by people who mistook them for brother Charles, the people wondering (but not asking) why he was out with another woman who was not Charles wife.

(10,212 posts)with my sister and Aunt. It wasn't a group of close family members, but very distance people whom we were related to far back the family tree. There was a woman there who looked exactly like my aunt. It was weird how much they looked alike down to the haircut. It was like they were twins separated at birth. Even weirder that my aunt looks like her mother's side of the family and this reunion was of her father's side. Nevertheless, there they were.

(17,813 posts)When I was security guarding for pocket change while I was an undergraduate. Was making the rounds and saw somebody who was the spitting image of a friend of mine, except he seemed a little skinnier. So I stop and say "Joe?" and he looks at me and says "Eric?" And we didn't know each other. So double-doppelgangers, quite amusing.
