What I call CNN style...sort of an audio National enquirer approach..
I get turned off quickly by the hyper active type of shows.

There's a new series called Mindhunter which is done in a very calm way, about FBI and serial killers.
It is also very chilling, without the loud music and rapid scene cuts.

Mindhunter is great. Years ago I read Journey Into Darkness by John Douglas. The tv series really captures the essence of the book!

Yeah, it is done pretty well.

And yes, to the John Douglas book. I am keeping an eye out for a season 2 of the Mind Hunter series. It was really terrific.

It seems to be very well done. I enjoyed watching Evil Genius, what a strange bunch of people involved.
