The adaptation of World War Z

It's release date should be June 2013.

It's old news, but there was controversy over the adaptation from book to movie. The book is fantastic for anyone who wants a good read. It's a collection of people's first hand accounts of how they survived the zombie war. Their stories are the product of a journalist's research, unless I'm mistaken.

The movie however, is set in present time. Which means it will follow the standard zombie genre. This is one of the main controversies with the fans of the book.

I don't know if it's a consolation but in January it was also reported that they were hoping to turn it into a trilogy. I'm not too crazy about that because it means that they will probably end the first story right about where everything begins to look hopeless.

Anyway, thought I'd post this in the Lounge to see if anyone has heard anything because they have been very stingy releasing set information and clips on the net. The few things I've seen are superlative,
