But maybe it was a good thing my fridge broke down.

(34,403 posts)After I came to my senses, I think I went through a gallon of bleach, a case of Lysol wipes, and bought all new storage containers.
It wasn't pretty.

(13,912 posts)Hummmm...... magnets work on my SS fridge door... BTW I hate stainless steel appliances..What a bitch to clean... I think the only way I'll get the streaks out mine is to sand it with 1000 grit wet or dry sandpaper.... Next time... basic black

(12,132 posts)magnets work on our stainless steel one. I think there are a few models out there that simulate stainless steel but are supposed to be easier to clean or something and maybe they don't do magnets. But if they don't do it where ya gonna put your round tuit?
Ours is stainless steel with some kind of treatment that makes it easier to clean that old school SS. Or maybe it doesn't show fingerprints as much. I dunno - as long as it has food in it the rest is off my radar.
