Software Terms of Service

I know that everyone knows this, but Terms of Service are ridiculous.

I just subscribed to an app for use on my Amazon merchant account. I clicked ok, but I copied the TOS and pasted it into a word document. 40 pages, 20,000+ words.

For all I know, I just agreed to to pass along all my income from my Amazon sales in perpetuity.

And that if I want to complain about anything I have to file a claim in the Vanuatu municipal court.

Who the hell knows what I've allowed FB and Google and Apple to do with my data, but my guess is that they'll be the first to know when I die.

Ridiculous.
