Sinatra as you've probably never seen him before

Many years ago when I was 4, my friends and I played a game we called Kissing Bandits. We girls sat with our legs hanging off my front porch pretending to be on a stagecoach, and the boys would ride up on their make-believe horses, kiss us on the cheeks, and gallop away.

Last night it suddenly came to me that our game may have been based on a movie we'd seen called The Kissing Bandit. I didn't remember it, but Google said there really was such a movie then, and You Tube had the trailer.

I vaguely remember the movie now.

I laughed my head off seeing "Frankie" (as he was known back then, the skinny crooner who got the girls all hot and bothered,) and Ricardo Montalban, decades before he played "KHAAANNN!!!"

Can't beat that team.

It surprised me to see Sinatra playing the fool, especially at the height of his popularity. Maybe he had fun.

Watching the entire movie would probably be painful, but the trailer is wonderful. The dance scenes looked good, better than the songs.

some of the cast besides Sinatra and Montalban.

I'm sure the movie would be painful to watch, but I agree about the trailer.

Anything would be better than the songs, imo.

but I associate Ricardo Montalban more with "Fine Corinthian Leather" than dancing.

the Chrysler commercials, didn't he? I remember him best as Mr. Roarke on Fantasy Island. The plane! The plane!
