I have always gone under since I learned many many years ago that temptation of the feline variety can not go into a restroom with toilet paper over and not energetically unroll it onto the floor. If you do not believe me look up Jackson Galaxy's advise for cats vs toilet paper.

...Blues and Greens in Constantinople. York and Lancaster. Hatfields and McCoys. Sawx and Yankees. Marvel and DC. Coke and Pepsi. McDonald's and Burger King. Certs is a breath mint/candy mint. But this--the right way to hang the toilet paper--this is the most contentious of all.

And I'm counting my ex as a boy and NOBODY would replace the TP, or PTs, or copier paper but me, although they were always willing to tell me it needed to be done. I am so over it.

Mr. Wheeler had a lot of patents related to toilet paper and this one was far from the first, the first would have been at least 20 years earlier.

It sits in a little wicker basket, and I'll bet a dollar to a donut I can dispense the precise number of sheets I need faster and easier than anyone who hangs it.

. . . for those who like it hanging over the top. For them, I always place it hanging under. That way, some day, they might learn to replace it themselves.

My master bedroom bath belongs to my wife, so I'm relegated to the guest bathroom. I do however remember to put a roll on the hanger when I know we're having company so they don't think that we're complete barbarians.👹🙋

And at the time the TP roll was invented, people who could afford indoor plumbing probably didn't have splintery wooden indoor walls. Spiders are a different matter, though.

What's more annoying? Changing the toilet paper, taking out the trash, refilling the ice cube trays, or having to replace the batteries in your t.v. remote control?

They all suck.
