until I saw the guy in the pink floral suit. Yikes!

Obviously Cape Cod is not Texas: no snakes, chiggers, and other undesirable wildlife to nibble at your toes.

I wish them happy.

But that thing she was wearing looks like 18th-century wallpaper.

The whole gathering was very reminiscent of a couple of weddings I attended in the '60s. Bit of a flower child vibe going on there. Best wishes to the new couple!

it was a beautiful dress.

I don't know how either of them will feel about his outfit.

Oh well. Hopefully they had a lot of fun and are good together.

I was asked in the elevator last night to "rate" the outfit a 20 something guy was wearing. He got on with two friends--one guy, one girl--and was wearing a blue flower print shirt--unbuttoned--with khaki slacks and casual light brown leather shoes. I have to admit he looked pretty cute (I'm 67 and I love seeing all the hot young guys in my apartment building). I gave him an 8 1/2 for a memorable look, although I think he could have buttoned one or two of the buttons for a better look. We all had a good laugh. They got off several floors below mine (I'd been out walking the dog) and I heard him exclaiming 8 1/2 as the door closed. I suspect his friends didn't think it was worth 8 1/2! The other guy had a nothing memorable average shorts/shirt canvas shoes outfit (although I did compliment his shoes) and the girl was nicely put together, but nothing that was striking about her outfit.

What the statement states, who knows?

But he'd look marvelous, standing on the sand, staring down a bull. Ole.
