3. I first heard it in some movie on HBO

and that is where I learned to love Leonard. Had no idea who it was or what else he had done until I started looking into it starting with the music credits at the end of the movie. I've long forgotten the movie but will never forget Leonard Cohen.

4. Was it "Pump Up The Volume"?

First thing I ever saw Samantha Mathis in. I thought she was hot.

This movie also introduced me to Concrete Blonde (see above) through their excellent cover of 'Everybody Knows.'

5. No this was much darker than that

I am pretty sure a stripper was playing this song while she danced - the movie was a drama/thriller and that scene is literally the only thing I remember. And I only remember it for the song - I don't even remember if it ever got to nudity - just swinging langorously around the pole.

I just googled it - it was a film called Exotica.
