Making a cat portrait with felt

This is needle felting, which I have seen done, but never this beautifully. The artistry is amazing.

This is to those like Michelangelo's work is to finger painting.

If you read the LOL Cat Sunday threads, some of the owls are probably needle felting.

This place sells kits for the typical beginner needle felting projects: https://www.feltify.com/

If you search for images for needle felting you'll everything from very basic to other works of art - foxes seem to be a favorite and there are some amazing Tasmanian devils!
