Anyone watching Sharp Objects on HBO?

The second episode is on tomorrow. Very dark. I'm digging it.

One review said she is into "Streep territory."

Took me a while to settle into it. Now eager for the next episode.

She's gotten lots of award nominations, and no wins, for the wide eyed naive characters she's known for. She's stayed friends with Chris Messina since they worked together on Julie and Julia. They wanted to work together again but they both wanted something darker and meatier. I think she found it.
