Mystery solved. I know the strange moth that I saw in my sideyard.

"This caterpillar is a member of the “inchworm” family of moths, also known as “spanworms”."

Beautiful moth, but that batch laid eggs on my snowbush plant and it is decimating it. I might let them go another round and then I will have to take action.
