Crossword puzzler that stumped me...see if you can get it.

In the NY Times Magazine today: a five letter word with the clue "John, Paul and George but not Ringo."

It totally stumped me.

What do you think it is?

There are saints named John, Paul, and George. But no Saint Ringo.
