On edit: two of the kittens: Nakia (orange collar) and Beezus (fondly called B-rex, green collar) have now gone to their forever home!

Reminds me of a kitten that climbed up the pant leg of my teenage son years ago, then arduously made its way to his shoulder. There, hanging to his shirt by a claw, the kitty slapped my son across the face.
