this song is dedicated to Lucy...

I posted my new hatch a few weeks ago and Lucy ended up with one leg not usable and the other twisted... but she has spunk! It is difficult getting a photo of her because she is busy hopping everywhere to get bugs and stuff

today...




and my newest bunch... I hadn't intended to get turkeys (the feed store had 16 that were left over from orders), but figured I could donate them to the food bank this Thanksgiving





and just because... it stormed so bad last night my bees are afraid to come out this AM...

a hawk attack, a bear in the coop (who ate 2 of my other little chicks ) the fox and all of the inconveniences of not being able to fly and jump well like the other birds... she is a fighter
