Where all our talented musicians are in these times? There is so much that could be said to help a number of causes. Or at least make people think.

(875 posts)The days of a bunch of long haired hooligans scratching together something wild and using it to snatch the brass ring are long gone. The industry is totally owned and operated by corporate homogenizers and pasteurizers that only look at prospects that they think are marketable. When musicians ran the business they were more willing to take risks with artistic license. Artists like Frank Zappa or the Grateful dead would never even be considered today.
The musicians and poets and writers are out there. They cannot climb out of obscurity because the ladder has been removed.
