Last night I freaked out...
I got this phone call from our best friend. He started yelling at me and let loose a string of obscenities. AND his call came from a phone whose caller ID was in his ex-wife's name.
So I let my imagination get the better of me. I thought he had had a psychotic break. Furthermore, I thought ominously about the name of his ex-wife and immediately thought his daughters were using her phone to call about something bad happening to their father.
So I told my husband that Bill had obviously had a psychotic episode and his daughters took him to the hospital.
I reached him today. His phone had been not working properly and was cursing because of his phone malfunction. And he's never been successful in getting the caller ID straightened out and he's been divorced from her for 10 years.
Anyway, I was worried sick and didn't sleep well at all. Today I am super exhausted but my husband and I are relieved. He's recovering from spinal stenosis surgery which my husband had about a year and a half ago. We constantly worry about his condition because he is alone in his condo. If he fell and didn't have his phone handy...
