Finally, some much-needed rain in the "perpetually rainy" Pacific Northwest.

The deluge outside my window is Heavenly to listen to. The cool temperature in the middle of a blistering summer is like a kind of respite.

I won't miss the hot weather when it's gone for good...

I'm glad you folks are finally getting some rain! This climate change business sucks!

We've had at least some rain almost every day for a week, and it's still dry in my yard and garden! I can't image not having ANY rain for weeks on end! Must be awful, combined with the heat.

garden sprinklers for the next 2 days. Don't even what to see my water bill next month!

Cool tonite, but then back in the 80s next week.

Up here on the Olympic Peninsula it sounded like it was coming from Seattle.

Loved it - worked outside and got drenched - nice!!

But it wasn't just from watering the yard -- we had a water pipe break under the driveway. Can't wait to get that water bill.

Big old Aussie boy is out on the concrete patio sleeping
Gave the little guys their thunder meds earlier but didn't have the boomers as expected
